Collaboration as a Materials Researcher for the POND project
Ceramic elements
For the innovative company Nova Innova, I am one of the materials researcher. Nova Innova is developing “POND” ; an energy cel that wil not only collect data, but also be beautiful to look at, as they will be floating lights in different bodies of water all over Rotterdam.
For this project I am developing the ceramic elements, and experimenting with different clay formulas and firing ranges to produce pieces which of a specific porosity.
This is an ongoing project since march 2022
